St. Philip is committed to making a difference in the world. We partner and work with the following organizations, and perform the following outreach ministries:
For women and families escaping domestic violence.
- Group of women from St. Philip work at the WINGS resale shop in Palatine, Illinois
- Meets the last Monday of each month at 10:00 AM

Helps individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
- Shelter for the homeless men, women and children in the NW suburbs
- St Philip serves dinner at the PADS shelter in Mt. Prospect 4 - 5 times a year

Providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in the community.
- St. Philip brings a crew to work at the Food Depository two times a year

Elijah's Pantry
Serving the hungry and ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs in the community.
- Elijah's Pantry provides food for needy families in the Logan Square area of Chicago.
- A portion of the proceeds from the sale of St. Philip cookbooks is donated to Elijah's Pantry.

Seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
- Members of St. Phlip partner with other churches, Thrivent, & Habitat for Humanity to build a house for the needy.

Neighbors walking together to raise funds and increase awareness against hunger in our community and world.
- St. Philip participates in the annual CROP Hunger Walk, usually held each year in October

The American Cancer Society's signature activity affords everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer by including teams of people from all walks of life to have fun while raising much-needed funds to fight cancer and to raise awareness of cancer prevention.
- Held on last Friday in May at Glenbrook High School

Addresses the root causes of hunger and poverty in our community and the world using relief, education, and advocacy.
- A Lutheran agency dedicated to ending hunger.

A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other in order to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Begun in 1995, the Illinois Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) program brings citizen volunteers into partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to pick up trash and keep our roadsides clean. The program also educates and encourages people to stop littering.

St. Philip Meal Kitchen
A friendly, family church supper for those struggling to make ends meet
- Dinner provided every Tuesday of each month 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

St. Philip Clothes Closet
A place where those in need from the community may obtain seasonal appropriate clothing.
- Open Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, and Saturday 10:00 AM - noon
- Individual and family recipients must be approved by Northfield Township

St. Philip Care Brigade
Limited assistance in completing household chores and tasks for those temporarily unable to perform them.
- Help for those experiencing an unexpected emergency

St. Philip Pet Food Pantry
Provides dog and cat food for pets of those in need.
- Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
- Individual and family recipients must be approved by Northfield Township

St. Philip Giving Garden
Vegetable gardens planted by the congregation and families for educational and nutritional needs.
- Sixteen 12'x12' garden plots available for spring planting
- 10% of what is raised will be given to the Northfield Township Food Pantry

St. Philip "Pay It Forward" Parking
A parking progam for high school students whereby St. Philip provides parking to the nearby high school which is paid for by the student completing volunteer work.
